WEAVING WILD MEDICINE
Somatic Coaching │ Ceremonial Healing
“I came into my work with Soar wanting to explore my relationship patterns with men. As a man, I’ve had significant barriers trusting and relating with other men, due to societal conditioning, and my own particular family and personal history. For this reason, it was important to find someone who I felt comfortable and safe with, because I knew that I’d be exploring some deep and challenging issues. Soar was the perfect person to work with on this. He manifested safety, care, and groundedness, while challenging me, in a kind and loving way, to confront the challenging material that came up. I always felt completely supported. I have a huge amount of appreciation and gratitude for our work together, and would recommend him to anyone I know.”
“Soar went to great lengths to curate a beautiful, safe altar and ceremony space. Arriving to find a yurt with a wood-burning stove, bedding, and wool blankets, everything one could want for an outdoor ceremony, felt like a gift in itself.
As a woman, I want to name how reparative it was to have space held by a man in this way. Soar's presence was steady, respectful, and that alone let me receive care differently than I have before and something I could actually rest into. Throughout, he was remarkably attuned. After a stretch of silence and squirming, he gently asked, "how's it going in there?" and that question broke the ice, letting me feel my feelings and engage with grief that was surfacing. He offered consented touch on my feet that I found grounding, and at one point stepped away briefly to bring me a flower from the altar, along with cedar and a feather. I held that flower in my hand for most of the ceremony and that gesture of care meant so much to me and was a touchstone for the rest of my ceremony. It arrived right after a wave of grief and brought me real comfort.
Because Soar established safety so well, my protective parts stayed at ease. I believe that safety, and the integrity Soar brought to holding it, is exactly why the experience was as transformative as it was. When I asked him to remind me the earth was supporting me if I struggled, he did, right when I needed it.
He held the full arc of prep, ceremony, and integration with a gentle, client-led pace, tracking my themes and intentions with real precision. There is something singular about being witnessed this closely and this carefully by a man who asks nothing in return but your safety. Soar is an excellent guide and I highly recommend working with him.”
“I had my second ceremony, with Soar as my guide, in May 2026. It was tremendous. What I took from my experience is a truly genuine feeling of my connection with this Earth, my body, my manner of operating here to create a life I desire. I felt a confidence, not just as a person who can be productive in the market, but a spiritual being in a physical plane, free to make the best go of it that I possibly can. A confidence I’d never felt in 40 years here so far.
I felt like I had touched a thing that few people really have, that many only dream or pretend to have an experience of – a sense of what it means to be human in this place we call “reality”. In the way that, if I had burned my finger on a flame, I would know that experience rather than just reading about it and deciding, “wow, that was a good story about a burning flame, I think I’ll retell that story to others later.”
Working with Soar felt supportive. He and I prepared for the journey by exploring some of my deep traumas and where I have stored them in my body, and discussed my intensions, the things I would ask the medicine to show me, and it absolutely did show me. I felt safe in expressing myself, and felt he had the emotional breadth of experiences to walk me through a journey of this size, shape, and color. He is intuitive and attentive, and I know I can trust he has my healing as his focus.
I already have plans to do more healing and further journeys with Soar.”
“One of the greatest gifts I've taken with me from this journey is a deeper connection with myself through a profound connection with my maternal grandfather. The experience allowed me to access, acknowledge, and release pain that I had been carrying, and I've genuinely felt lighter ever since.
I also gained a new understanding of what it means to “slow down.” It's not necessarily about doing less or moving more slowly through life. It's about listening—listening to yourself, your body, your intuition, and what is truly present in the moment. This journey served as both an introduction and a powerful reminder of that practice, and it is something I continue to carry with me.
Working with Soar was an incredible experience. He is a caring, compassionate, and supportive guide who creates a warm, inviting space that feels both sacred and deeply honored. Throughout the process, I always felt safe, seen, and supported.
What stood out most was his ability to truly listen—not just to me, but to what my body and experience were communicating. He seemed to intuitively understand what was needed in each moment. He offered just the right amount of guidance, gently encouraging and supporting me without ever taking over the experience. His presence allowed me to fully trust the process and explore what needed to emerge at my own pace.
I am deeply grateful for the space he held and for the role he played in helping me connect more deeply with myself and my journey.”
“I have experienced Soar as a guide in both group and individual settings. I have laughed, cried, danced, and held hands with Soar in coming to a deeper wisdom and love of myself. He is loving, caring, insightful, intuitive, and very wise in holding space that has met me where I am with depth, strength, and compassion. I can’t wait to journey with him again!”
“Soar has been a trusted friend and guide for the past 2+ years. Through his friendship and guidance, it's been made clear that I'm enough just the way I am, flaws and all, and that change, while deeply uncomfortable and unsettling, is safe and welcome and that I don't have to go through it alone. During our journey together, he's helped me gain comfortability with the uncomfortable and has tested this is practical yet gentle ways and he's taught me that the parts of me that show up day to day are most often the parts that receive nourishment. I also strongly admire Soar's connection and respect for nature, culture and ritual and of course his storytelling, which has helped me connect a lot of dots in my life. I really could go on and on about what Soar means to me and it would all be true, but perhaps the last thing I'll say is that he is a shining example of what it means to be a real man: someone who is strong yet gentle, confident yet humble, resourceful while recognizing and asking for his needs, someone who will show you the way through as opposed to just empty words, all with an absolutely epic beard :)”
